NMM, along with members of the Black Panther FanActivistCon Coalition, just held the first online Convention for Black Panther fans and racial justice organizations.  Next step:  a Twitter Townhall, to be hosted by one of the Convention's participants.

Our host, Stephanie Collier is the Field Organizer at National Black Worker Center Project and she invites you to join her for a conversation about the social significance of the movie Black Panther and its implications and opportunities for racial justice, worker justice and environmental justice advocates.

Our featured guests include: LaTosha Brown, Co-Founder of the Black Voters Matter Fund and Gerald D Givens Jr. First VP of the Raleigh-Apex Branch of the NAACP.

Anyone interested in discussing Black Panther and the power of storytelling to change the world is invited to join in the lively discussion. FanActivistCon was held Feb 19, and was produced by NMM along with partners: Center for Story-based Strategy, the Harry Potter Alliance and Intelligent Mischief, with key support from Black Girl Nerds, Black Girls Create and a grant from The Pop Culture Collaborative.
