Trainers and coaches
This course is taught by NMM Program Director Elana Levin. Since 2005 Elana has led trainings in digital strategy for nonprofits and unions. Before joining NMM in 2017 Elana ran digital programs as Director of Communications or Digital Strategy for unions and community based organizations like Make the Road, Workers United SEIU and Writers Guild of America, East.
This is Elana’s nineth year leading Digital Best Practices, our most in-demand course. Because hands-on coaching time is key to this training, we were originally very limited in the number of students we could accommodate. To be able to help more organizations we began partnering with a diverse set of experienced coaches to expand the program’s capacity for hands-on mentoring. Elana puts extensive thought and care into the matchmaking process to pair you with the coach who best matches your needs. Know that each of them is as excited to work with you as you are to work with them.
But even with our additional coaches, we still must cap the class capacity. So be sure to apply today!
Skill level
If you have written email blasts and posted to social media platforms for your organization, you are ready for this course. If you are experienced at managing digital campaigns for your organization and realize you need a skills refresh or need formal training, this training is for you too.
Questions? We will host an Open House on Zoom February 19, 2pm ET. RSVP and let’s chat!
